Leather, Velvet, and a Turkey Leg

I hope you are all enjoying the extra hour we received today. I immediately felt less like a complete waste of a human when it was 10:30am instead of 11:30am.  See ya, day light savings!  We luckily are still having beautiful weather temperatures here in Charlotte right now and this weekend was no exception.  We did some light shopping and I've been DYING to wear this leather skirt that I picked up from Vestique a few weeks back!  How cute is it?  I paired it with a sleeveless ivory sweater and a denim jacket for a casual look.  Below I've linked the skirt.  Hurry if you want to purchase because they just restocked it online and you don't want to miss out!

We also dressed up a little for a cocktail in Ballantyne and I got a chance to wear a gorgeous, blue, velvet dress from For Love & Lemons.  Guys, I could live in this dress.  It's so comfortable but looks stunning.  I paired it with some white ankle booties from Versona and felt amazing in it.  The slit in the dress was sexy, but not overly sexy.  I also played "Blue Da Ba Dee" by Eiffel 65 on repeat and had some major nostalgia!  That song was the bomb circa 1999 am I right??  I know you're singing it right now and you're welcome for that.  The entire outfit is linked here:
